The next Intensive Fire is scheduled to take place at the Kiwi Hotel, Bournemouth, between Friday 24 and Sunday 26 October 2008. The main tournament runs on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26, and there will be a series of ‘mini-tourneys’ running on Friday 24 October. Thursday is reserved for friendly games.
The main Intensive Fire tournament is a ‘Fireteam’ tournament played over three rounds. Players are placed into either the ‘Elite’ or ‘First Line’ division and then allocated to teams based upon their current UK ranking, which can be found at the UK Crusaders Ladder.
Points are allocated for each win, and the team in each division with the highest number of points at tournament end is declared the winner. There are prizes for the highest placed Fireteam in each division and an individual champion’s prize for the player with the best record of consecutive unbeaten games.
